$0.53
If you’re laying a new lawn or repairing patchy grass, fresh sod is the fastest way to get there. At Radiant Landscape, we bring in a fresh delivery of sod rolls every morning — so what you pick up or receive is cut that same day, not sitting in a warehouse going yellow.
We carry two trusted sod brands: Manderley Kentucky Bluegrass sod and Blue Grass sod. Both are well suited to Edmonton’s climate and available for same-day pickup or delivery. Not sure
which is right for your project? Call us and we’ll help you choose based on your yard, budget, and timeline.
Manderley Less Water Kentucky Bluegrass Sod
Save Time, Money and Water.
Manderley Less Water is Canada’s first certified drought-tolerant natural grass sod. It’s grown from a blend of Kentucky Bluegrass cultivars that have passed the stringent drought-tolerance standards set by the Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance (TWCA) — meaning it stays lush and green with as little as half the water required by a conventional lawn.
For Edmonton homeowners, that’s a real difference. Our summers are short and dry spells are common. Manderley Less Water stays active up to 6 weeks longer without water than conventional sod — acting as an insurance policy against the cost and hassle of sod replacement during a drought year.
Beyond water savings, it greens up faster in spring, holds its colour longer into fall, and adds genuine curb appeal that increases your property value — all without extra work on your end. For more information you can click here.

Buy Sod by the Roll — No Minimum Order
We sell sod by the roll. Each roll is 2 ft x 5 ft = 10 sq ft. There’s no minimum order — buy one roll for a small repair or thousands of rolls for a full lawn installation. Need a few rolls of sod to patch a bare spot or a full pallet of grass sod for a new build? We stock both.

Sod Must Be Installed Within 24 Hours
Fresh sod is a living product. Once it’s cut, the clock starts. A few things to sort out before your order arrives:
Install within 24 hours — don’t let sod sit rolled up in the sun or heat.
After laying each roll, water it within 30 minutes.
The first two weeks, water once or twice daily depending on temperature and sun exposure. Manderley Less Water sod reduces this requirement significantly compared to conventional
sod — but it still needs consistent moisture to root properly.
Soil prep matters before you lay a single roll. Grade your soil, remove debris and large rocks, and confirm you have good drainage. If you need topsoil or screened soil to prep your base, we carry both at our yard.
Bad Sod? We Replace It — Free of Charge.
We stand behind every pallet we send out. If your sod arrives mouldy or overheated, do not install it. Contact us immediately and we’ll replace it with fresh sod at no charge.
Mouldy or heat-damaged sod looks similar to fresh sod at a glance, but it won’t root. If you install damaged sod and it fails, the cost of pulling it out, disposing of it, and re-laying falls entirely on you. That’s an expensive mistake that takes 30 seconds to avoid.
How to check your sod before installing:
- Unroll a few rolls and inspect the grass — it should be green and firm, not slimy or discoloured
- Smell it — fresh sod has an earthy grass smell; bad sod smells like compost or rot
- Touch it — if rolls feel unusually hot in the centre of the pallet, flag it before installing
Our policy:
- Bad sod reported before installation → we replace it free of charge, no questions asked
- Bad sod installed by the customer → customer is responsible for all labour costs to remove and replace
However, if your sod arrives damaged, call us before you lay a single roll. We’d rather swap it out than have you deal with a failed lawn.
Fresh Every Morning. No Minimums. Delivered Right.
We bring in fresh sod every morning, sell by the roll with no minimum, and deliver on a flatbed with a Moffett forklift so it lands exactly where you need it. Our quality guarantee means if something’s wrong with your sod, we replace it before you install a single roll — no argument, no charge. We’ve been selling landscape supplies in Edmonton for over 8 years and we know what works in this climate. Contractors get volume pricing and account access. Homeowners get the same service, whether they’re buying 5 rolls or 500.
