Paver edging holds pavers in place around patios, walkways, and driveways. Without an edge restraint, pavers work loose over time as freeze-thaw cycles and foot traffic push them outward. We carry aluminum and PVC snap edge options in Edmonton.

Aluminum wins on low profile. PVC wins on ease of installation. Aluminum sits lower and disappears against the paver edge when installed correctly. PVC snap edge is easier for DIY installers and works well for patios and walkways where load is moderate.

The types

About the Aluminum Paver Edging

The standard 8’4″ aluminum edging is our workhorse product for straight runs. The 1.5″ height sits below most standard patio pavers, so the edge is not visible from above once the paver is set. Comes with plated joiner tabs to connect multiple lengths. 90-degree angles do not require cutting.

The Low Profile version sits even lower at just 5/8″ height. This makes it the pick for 20mm porcelain pavers, flagstone, and wetcast shapes where a taller edging would show above the paver surface. Made from 6063 aluminum with T-5 hardness.

About the Flex Paver Edging

The Flex version is 7’6″ long and bends to follow curves without any cutting. Standard or reversible installation depending on the paver profile.

About the PVC Snap Edge

Two options in the same category. The standard PVC Snap Edge uses an integrated snap-together connection. The Belgard PVC Snap Edge is a brand-name option using the Belgard system. Both are 8-foot lengths.
